Herselve ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit herselve.com (the "Site"), subscribe to the Herselve newsletter, purchase or use Present Me, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with Herselve.

By using the Site or providing information to us, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Herselve.

Information You Provide to Us

We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

Contact information. This may include your name, email address, and information you provide when subscribing to the Herselve newsletter, contacting us, purchasing a product, or otherwise communicating with Herselve.

Purchase information. When you purchase Present Me or another Herselve product or service, we may receive information related to your transaction, such as your name, email address, purchase amount, transaction status, and other transaction-related information.

Payments are processed through Stripe. Herselve does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card number. Stripe may collect and process payment and transaction information according to its own privacy practices.

Present Me assessment information. If you take Present Me, we collect the responses you provide as part of the assessment and information generated from those responses, including your Present Me orientation, Eight Energies information, and personalized results.

This information is used to administer the assessment, determine and display your results, deliver your results, provide related services you request, maintain appropriate business records, troubleshoot problems, and improve the operation of Present Me.

Present Me is a self-reflection and educational product. It is not a medical record, clinical assessment, psychological evaluation, diagnosis, or mental-health service. Please do not submit medical records, diagnostic information, or other sensitive information that the assessment does not specifically request.

Communications. If you contact Herselve, we may collect your email address and the contents of your message, along with any other information you choose to provide.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting and technology providers may automatically process certain technical information necessary to operate, secure, and deliver the Site. This may include information such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring website, pages accessed, date and time of access, and similar technical or diagnostic information.

Herselve does not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar third-party behavioral advertising or advertising analytics technologies on the Site.

We may use information we collect to:

• operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
• provide Present Me and other Herselve products and services
• process and administer purchases
• calculate, display, and deliver Present Me results
• send transactional emails, including purchase and product-related communications
• send the Herselve newsletter and other communications you have chosen to receive
• respond to questions, requests, and customer-service inquiries
• prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems
• understand and troubleshoot the operation of our Site and services
• maintain business, accounting, tax, and transaction records
• enforce our Terms of Use and protect Herselve's rights
• comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and lawful governmental requests
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

We may also use information in aggregated or de-identified form where it no longer reasonably identifies an individual.

Herselve uses Kit to manage newsletter subscriptions and marketing email communications. When you subscribe to the Herselve newsletter, your email address and other information you voluntarily provide may be processed by Kit for purposes such as managing your subscription and delivering Herselve communications.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those emails. Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not prevent us from sending non-marketing messages necessary to complete a transaction, deliver a product you purchased, or communicate important information concerning a service you use.

Herselve may use Resend to send transactional emails, including emails containing or providing access to Present Me results and other product-related communications. In connection with delivering those messages, Resend may process information such as your email address, email metadata, message content, and other information included in the message.

Herselve does not currently use information from your Present Me assessment to send you unrelated advertising based on your individual assessment responses.

We use third-party companies to operate portions of Herselve. These currently include:

• Netlify for website hosting and delivery
• Stripe for payment processing
• Kit for newsletter subscriptions and email marketing
• Resend for transactional email delivery

We do not authorize service providers acting solely on our behalf to use personal information for purposes unrelated to providing their services to Herselve, except as permitted or required by law.

Herselve does not currently sell personal information for money. Herselve also does not currently use personal information collected through the Site for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.

The Site and the third-party services necessary to operate it may use cookies or similar technologies for functionality, security, payment processing, session management, or other operational purposes. Herselve does not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar third-party behavioral advertising technologies on the Site.

Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" or similar signals. Because there is not a universally adopted standard governing all Do Not Track signals, the Site may not respond to traditional Do Not Track signals in a uniform manner. We will honor legally required browser-based privacy preference signals where applicable.

We may disclose personal information:

• To service providers that help us operate the Site, process payments, deliver products, send emails, maintain systems, or provide professional services
• At your direction or with your consent
• For legal and safety reasons when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, court order, or governmental request
• In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing products and services, maintaining business and transaction records, complying with legal and tax obligations, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and enforcing agreements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no website, database, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

• correct inaccurate personal information
• delete certain personal information
• address questions concerning our collection or use of your information
• assist with another privacy right available to you under applicable law

If you are a California resident, California law may provide additional rights concerning your personal information. Herselve does not currently sell personal information for money or use personal information collected through the Site for cross-context behavioral advertising. Herselve and Present Me are intended for adults. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Herselve improperly, contact hello@herselve.com.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, products, or services. Herselve is not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of third parties.

Herselve is based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, information may be processed or stored in the United States or other countries in which our service providers operate.
